Apartment: A Separated Place is a series of interactive first-person vignettes that primarily tells the story of the protagonist and his recent breakup, but also touches on the lives of the others living in their apartment building. I bounced off of the writing, but I think someone else might be able to get a lot out of it, especially if they're someone who enjoys story-rich games.
Thank yous are always welcome, but if you'd like to answer a question instead: what's the most memorable building you've lived in?

For a short time, I lived in a building that had a really beautiful historic library in it. It was good drawing inspiration! What I loved most was the ornate clock hanging from the ceiling.
Thank you for the giveaway of this narrative game :)

That sounds incredible! How did you end up living (staying?) there?

School! It was a privilege, I tried to spend as much time there as possible. Whatโs your most memorable building you've lived in?

When I was a kid, my family moved to another city which was the closest I've ever seen to a ghost town. There were maybe one or two apartment buildings nearby, one supermarket and a bakery... and then you'd have to drive a few minute just to find anything. It wasn't a village, it wasn't "rural" in that sense, it was kind of just... a regular street, completely empty, except for a few buildings. Like you started playing a city builder and gave up five minutes in.
Anyways, about the bulding we lived in, there were, I believe, four decently large apartments in there, and except for ours, they were all empty for the entire time we lived there.
I also remember that my and my sister's rooms weren't actually in the apartment (although they were part of it, as far as rent and stuff was concerned), but one floor above, so we had to go up the staircase outside the apartment. Kind of like a mini-apartment on its own, we had our own keys, our own bathroom... Felt like a big deal!

Huh! That sounds a bit eerie, but also pretty fun if you're a kid and don't mind all the empty space. Having my own mini-apartment would have been the dream when I was a kid-to-teen.

Most memorable building? I lived in a basement for some months; hardly a building, but memorable, nonetheless.
Thank you for the giveaway!

Ha, fair. I was thinking along the lines of "interesting" or somewhere you were fond of, in a positive way.
I lived in a basement suite for a good chunk of my undergrad, but that's typical for Vancouver and I actually really liked it! I basically got to live in one of the most expensive neighbourhoods and mooch off the landlord's fantastic vegetable garden for low rental prices. (Also, we had small above-ground windows, which helped.)

I've actually never lived in an apartment building. The biggest "building" I've lived in was a place that had three apartments.
