Looking to get more active w/ the site, pretty sure a few tools must exist.

Hoping to see games that are on wishlists and have not been on sale for 50% or more in the past (so i'm not getting crazy reduced CV per $ spent).

Also is there a way for me to block those who can enter the giveaways to those who have done 'public' giveaways at x value and up only?

you can put level on your giveaways. For extra rules as public ones you can use sgtools

Thanks, going to look into it. I don't want to just do level on the giveaways, because I feel like a lot of people hit high levels while only gifting in private groups. I plan to buy some newer games purely for those keeping the public giveaways active, then some medium priced ones for the site in general.

You can use real_sent_public >= x as a rule on sgtools.

Understandable. Level requirement is the lowest protection from bots, but it is still so big filter. I do most of my giveaways invite only, cause it fits to my own set of rules better. Sgtools allows you to create a custom filter as you wish.

You want to look if a game has been ever free (SteamDB.info) which makes it to have 0CV. Or how many times it has been bundled (Barter.vg or IsThereAnyDeal.com), if it has been bundled once with a reasonably low price per game in the bundle, it's reduced CV. A game being 90% off in Steam doesn't reduce its CV.

Read more about CV in the FAQ and Guidelines here.

I believe he is looking for an easy way to see the following without having to manually look up each game's sale history:

  1. Which games appear on the most Steam wish lists
  2. From that list of games, a subset (smaller list) of games that have never been on sale for 50+ percent

If you want what Dominicanoed says then:

  1. https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaways/wishlist it's right here.
  2. I don't think you can find a tool which finds games which aren't on "cheapest" lists, rather the opposite. Try IsThereAnyDeal.com to see if you can make an advanced search like that. You can't in SteamDB, since it only lists current sale prices, and filtering out by highest discounts, not lowest :/
